| Comments: I am often very wary when I see an Arts Council logo on a CD but in this case I certainly need not have worried. An interesting concept with Morton’s compositions being given more modern sounding arrangements. Not so modern that they lose the essence of the original and it certainly works. Admirably performed by this band of Scottish musicians this can certainly be recommended. | |||
